In Vienna, the international art project Punto y Raya presents the plans for the expansion of this platform in the three partner countries Poland, Spain and Austria.
From a film festival for “Abstract Art in Motion”, a variety of activities have developed over the last decade, which were able to convince a broad audience, especially in Barcelona and Wrocław. In the spirit of European cooperation and to promote artistic exchange and synergies between regions and countries, examples of these successful initiatives will be introduced in Vienna. In addition, plans for work in the near future are also presented in Vienna. Possible partnerships and support from local cultural institutions (such as the Film-Museum, Künstlerhaus Wien, Blickle Kino, or ASIFA Austria, among others) will be negotiated in the context of the challenges of a planned permanent establishment of Punto y Raya in Austria. The example of PyRLab Poland and the strategies for cooperation in the Visegrád region are discussed as potential models for work in Vienna. https://www.puntoyrayafestival.com

Das internationale Kunstprojekt Punto y Raya präsentiert in Wien die Pläne für die Expansion dieser Plattform in den drei Partner – Ländern Polen, Spanien und Österreich.
Aus einem Filmfestival für “Abstrakte Kunst in Bewegung” haben sich im letzten Jahrzehnt vielfältige Aktivitäten entwickelt, welche vor allem in Barcelona und Wrocław ein breites Publikum überzeugen konnten. Im Sinne einer europäischen Zusammenarbeit und um künstlerischen Austausch und Synergien zwischen Regionen und Ländern zu fördern, werden in Wien Beispiele dieser erfolgreichen Initiativen präsentiert. Zusätzlich werden Pläne für die Arbeit in der nahen Zukunft auch in Wien vorgestellt. Mögliche Partnerschaften und Unterstützungen lokaler Kulturinstitutionen (wie dem FilmMuseum, Künstlerhaus Wien, Blickle Kino oder ASIFA Austria, neben anderen) werden im Kontext der Herausforderungen einer geplanten dauerhaften Etablierung von Punto y Raya auch in Österreich erörtert. Das Beispiel von PyRLab Poland und die Strategien für Kooperationen in der Visegrád-Region werden als potentiell Modelle für die Arbeit in Wien diskutiert. https://www.puntoyrayafestival.com
